[dhikrullah.com] - Reminding because it benefits the believers!

Allah SWT says in Surah Ma’idah verse 48: If Allah willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so strive as in a race in good deeds.

Allah SWT here is telling us to do good deeds as if we are in a race. Racing towards good deeds and competing with each other is a deed commendable by Allah SWT. Doesn’t mean we have to put on our trainers and shorts and whatnot and start running for no reason but just bear this in mind insha’Allah next time you see an opportunity to give charity or someone asks for your help *smiles*

..we do it for you, oh Allah..that should be our life motto.

Umar bin al-Khattaab relates that: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allaah, (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam), saying, “Verily actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended”

Everyone knows the hadeeth about the first people to be thrown into hell being the mujahid, the qari and the aalim who didn’t do the deeds for the sake of Allah. subhan’Allah the great act of jihaad feesabililah, if not done for the sake of Allah sincerely can maybe land you into fire, what about everything else.

Its possible to get rewarded for EVERYTHING, even just waking up and living and eating if you make your intention that you wake up for the sake of Allah and you live for the sake of Allah and you eat for the sake of Allah and so on. As one kafir woman put it so nicely one time in a song except her intentions were screwed.

*Allah SWT says in Surah Ra’d, verse 28: Those who believe, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. *

People need dhikrullah to live [I don't mean this website], but the remembrance of Allah. We should constantly do it, what this project/blog/substitute/thing is, basically, little reminders about Islaam, every week a new little reminder in the form of a hadeeth or ayah with a difference insha’Allah and then once a month a small article type thing.

Whats different about this is, instead of flushing down mahoosive 5 hour long articles that erm, no one actually reads, “dhikr” will be your weekly, one stop short stop to get a quick emaan boost and a quick reminder. Kinda like your on a long journey and you feel like some red bull halfway every so often so you come here. If this makes no sense right now, dont worry, its not meant to. Just wait and see insha’Allah..

May Allah allow us to all benefit and may he make it successful and enter us into jannatul a3la *smiles*

Oh yea and why is this thing even here in the first place, its because Allah SWT says in Surah Dhariyat, verse 55: And remind for verily, the reminding benefits the believers. Thats why.
